3 Ways to Survive the Difficult Examination: Outwit, Outplay, Outlast (presented at Philippine College of Chest Physicians)

While I’m in the Philippines, I noticed that today is the opening of the 28th PCCP Annual Chest Convention in Manila. The conference has gathered foreign and local experts of different subspecialties of pulmonary medicine to address the traditional and novel issues relevant and useful in the practice of chest physicians.

According to the organizers, lectures will tackle issues of outmost interest to the clinicians and paramedical personnel, as well. “We all share in one goal - to put into action the learning objectives so we may help improve the lives of our patients,” said the chair, Encarnita Blanco-Limpin, MD, FPCCP.

The opening presentation especially caught my attention. “Outwit, Outplay, Outlast: Surviving the Difficult Examination,” by Angeles Tan-Alora, MD who is dean of Medicines & Surgery Department at University Of Santo Tomas, Manila.
